From phosphorus leakage to nutrient recovery – results from FosLav

DiaPure has been a partner in the Danish-funded project “FosLav” (Compact filter systems for phosphorus in drainage water from high- and lowland soils). Rewetting of lowland soils is an important climate mitigation measure to reduce emissions of CO₂ and other climate gases. Unfortunately, lowland rewetting causes the discharge of phosphorus, leading to eutrophication of downstream waters.
